INTERACT is proud to be joining up with COALITION AGAINST HUNGER - to Sponsor a GREEN LIGHT PANTRY food drive to benefit CASA DEL CARMEN. 

GREEN LIGHT PANTRY is an effort to provide specifically healthy food options to people in need -- Items typically found at other food pantries (e.g. mac and cheese, canned soups high in sodium.) are not carried.

Donate from the list below (or similar) to help families put nutritious food on the table: 

• Whole grain cereals, low-sugar
• Whole grain bread
• Whole grain dried pasta
• Brown rice
• Canned fruits packed in 100% juice or water
• Canned vegetables (no salt added)
• Dried fruits (no sugar added)
• Canned fish (salmon, tuna, sardines)
• Peanut butter (no salt or sugar added)
• Dried or canned beans (low- or no sodium)
• Dry milk
• Quart of skim or 1% milk (shelf stable)
• Evaporated skim milk
• Olive oil or canola oil
• Dried spices (no salt added)
• Vinegar
• Stock/broth (low or no sodium)
