The city you know, the people you don’t.

The Philly Cycle is InterAct’s most ambitious and robust commissioning project yet. Funded by the William Penn Foundation, InterAct has commissioned three playwrights to each write a play about a Philly community that is underrepresented on local and national stages. In addition to a $15,000 commission award, each playwright is provided with unlimited administrative and dramaturgical support from InterAct as they work with community partner organizations through the research and drafting phases of their play, culminating in a guaranteed production.
