Simpatico Theatre presents SvichFest! Three readings from the RED BIKE play cycle by Caridad Svich.

Running June 6-24th, Simpatico Theatre's production of the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of RED BIKE, by Caridad Svich is the first play in a cycle of plays that dig deep into the emotional map of America. Three of the five plays will be read as part of InterAct's Juneapalooza.

HOLLER RIVER - Monday June 18th, 7pm
A soldier waits for another to come home. They were teacher and student once. A town waits, too, deep in the heart of coal country, while the one who roams wrestles with what home even means. A story about the stories we tell ourselves, the songs we sing to get by, and the maps we make of our warring lives. This play is part of the RED BIKE/FUEL cycle of plays, and it is also a reflection on Shakespeare's HENRY IV Part One.
*This event will include a conversation and drinks with the playwright, Caridad Svich!
