Colin McIlvaine (Scenic Design, he/him) is a Philadelphia-based, Barrymore nominated scenic designer named as one of American Theatre Magazine's 20 People to Watch. Recent credits include: St. Joan (Delaware Theatre Company), Salt Pepper Ketchup (Interact Theatre), Among the Dead (Theatre Exile). Colin’s recent associate design credits include: A Christmas Carol (Guthrie Theater), Le Roi Arthus (Bard SummerScape), Pipeline (Lincoln Center). Katherine Fritz (Costume Design, she/her) Previously at InterAct: Eureka Day, Heartland, Sensitive Guys, #therevolution, The Dangerous House of Pretty M'Bane, We Are Proud to Present. Katherine is a costume designer, theatre artist and educator who balances work as an award-winning costume designer on Philadelphia’s regional stages with her passion for theatre education and the students in her care. Work history includes Arden Theatre Company, Delaware Theatre Company, Signature Theatre, Theatre Exile, Temple University, University of the Arts, and the education programs at McCarter Theatre Center. As a writer, her work has been featured in American Theatre Magazine, Washington Post and the New York Times. She currently serves as managing director of Pennsylvania Theatre Institute, a summer performing arts program at West Chester University

Emily Smith (Props Supervisor, she/her) is a recent-ish graduate from Towson Univeristy studying in Design and Production for Theatre Arts. She is a fan of all types of background stage production, particularly Scenic, Props, and Costuming. She is always looking for new opportunities and is excited to work with the InterAct theatre on this production. 

Colleen Hughes (Intimacy Director, she/her) is a Certified Intimacy Director with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators. She is trained in trauma-informed practices and holds this focus at the center of her work. Her intimacy work has appeared in over a dozen regional and off-Broadway productions. She is an instructor at IDC, one of the leading training organizations in the US where she also works to curate continuing education offerings for current and future members of the profession. In addition to her intimacy work, she also specializes in devised and ensemble-based physical theatre, mask work, and social dance. Larry D. Fowler, Jr. (DJ Mr. Cisum) (Sound Designer) is a Philadelphia based theater sound designer, radio imaging producer, and music producer whose work spans 20+ years. Theater companies Larry has designed for include Arden Theater, Wilma Theater, Azuka Theater, Interact Theater, Theater Horizon, People’s Light, New Paradise Labs, Simpatico, Theater Exile, The Lantern Theatre, Denver Center, Trinity Rep, Rennie Harris Puremovement (DJ-Rome And Jewels), ELeon Dance, Danse4Nia, and Khaleah London Dance. He is a 3-time Barrymore Award nominee for his work on Blood Wedding (Wilma Theater, 2017), Peter and the Starcatcher (Theater Horizon, 2018), and Hype Man (Interact Theater, 2018). Shannon Zura (Lighting Designer) is thrilled to be back at InterAct. Previous design credits include the lights and sound for Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble’s Leading Ladies and Opera House Arts' Last Gas; lights for Portland Stage Company's Papermaker, Penobscot Theatre's Wit, and InterAct’s Straight White Men and Three Christs of Manhattan; sound for Portland Stage Company’s Veils, Last Gas, God of Carnage, Red, and Our Man in Havana; and sets for PORTopera's La Fille du Regiment and InterAct’s Black Pearl Sings. She recently collaborated with Christensen Lighting on an award-winning lighting design for the Weiss Energy Hall at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Shannon holds an M.F.A. in Lighting Design from Temple University was Associate Professor and Chair of Theatre at the University of Southern Maine, and currently teaches at Ursinus College.

Sydney Norris (Master Electrician, she/her) is a freelance Lighting Designer and Electrician. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Women’s Studies. Her previous works in the Philadelphia area include Pericles, Prince of Tyre (Shakespeare in Clark Park), our ouija board (On The Rocks), Red Lodge, Montana (The Antidote), and 12 Chairs (Juniper Productions). Zach Galloza (Production Assistant, he/they) is a Philadelphia-based theatre artist and one of InterAct’s 2021-22 Season Apprentices. Having recently been the house manager for The Chinese Lady, Zach is thrilled to have been part of the production process for This Bitter Earth! A recent graduate of West Chester University’s B.A. Theatre program, his collegiate theatre credits include stage managing She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms, directing The Candle Burnt At Two Ends (as part of WCU’s Student Written One Act festival) and designing the props for House Arrest.
