Stage Manager
Tom Helmer returns for his 11th season. Over the past couple of seasons, he’s been bopping back and forth between Center City and Ambler, PA, having SM’ed KALAMAZOO this past summer at Act II Playhouse. Over 90 productions as an AEA stage manager includes work with Philadelphia Theatre Company, Totem Pole Playhouse(PA), Weston Playhouse Theatre Company (VT), Delaware Theatre Company, Oldcastle Theatre Company (VT) and Actors Shakespeare Project (Boston). His long-ago acting credits include John Adams, “1776”, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, Louis Howe/Bert Healy, "ANNIE", Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, Howie Newsome/Sam Craig, "OUR TOWN" and Bob Cratchit, "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" at Delaware Theatre Company. Tom is a former National Councillor (2004-2009, 2011) of Actors’ Equity and former Liaison Chair (1998-2004, 2009-2016) of the Philadelphia AEA Liaison Committee. His latest passion…spent the past year doing ancestry research for both sides of his family.
